My Thoughts
It
is amazing to me that the Savior of the world would descend below everything,
suffer, and die that I might be saved. How can one man love me so much that He
would suffer beyond belief and die a horrible death just for me? He is my brother
– He wants me to return to our Father. He wants me to grow spiritually and
physically and have the ability to make mistakes and have those wrongs removed.
I cannot help but feel His love for me. Our Heavenly Father knew exactly what
needed to be done – we needed a Savior – and our brother, giving His all, said
he would. I am grateful for the opportunity to partake of the Sacrament each
week and remember Him and His sacrifice for me. It is something I know I do not
fully understand and often take for granted, yet I am so blessed to know of His
love. I do not want His sacrifice to go to waste. It is there for me always –
through trials or repentance – to use and become better because of it.
